A novel and fun way to learn about the Romans!
27th April 2022Children in Key Stage 2 went back in time on Tuesday 26th April when they were visited by Steve Manning, the history storyteller.
Class 3/4 were visited by an Ancient Greek, Class 4/5 met a Viking soldier and Class 5/6 were whisked back to the Blitz during World War Two.
The storytelling sessions brought the historic events to life and the children enjoyed trying on armour, costumes and exploring other artefacts.
A big thank you to Steve Manning and to DAF for kindly donating half of the cost of the event and to the children for getting so involved!
