Remembrance Service - Monday 11th November13th November 2019
The annual remembrance service at the Britannia Royal Naval College took place on Monday, 11th November. Over 500 people packed into the chapel at the college to hear songs, poems and a range of readings about life during the war, led by the pupils of Class 5-6 and a selection of pupils in the secondary phase.
The service was a wonderful example of the young people of Dartmouth Academy 'being their best selves', with many observers commenting on the emotive and respectful way the service was led. It also provided a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold the peace that so many people fought and died for.
A special thank you is reserved for Chris Evans and everyone at BRNC who make this special annual event possible.
