Sponsor and Partners

The academy is sponsored by E-ACT, which is a not-for-profit charity with extensive experience of opening and running academies across England. E-ACT is committed to significantly improving the aspirations, learning, achievement and personal development of all young people.

E-ACT academies are inclusive and reflect the multi-cultural nature of British society and the common values shared by its citizens.

We have formed strong affiliations with three local partners who, along with
E-ACT, support the academy. These are:

Britannia Royal Naval College The Britannia Royal Naval College is a world leading centre for the training of Royal Navy Officers and has expertise in the provision of leadership and training experiences for adults and young people. It also has outstanding outdoor facilities which will be available for the academy’s young people.

Consortium of All-Through Schooling

The Consortium of All Through Schooling brings together national expertise in the teaching of learners and young people of all ages. The consortium has been actively involved in ensuring that the academy’s curriculum and staffing structures ensure the best opportunities and highest achievements for all learners.

Devon County Council

The academy will also work extensively with Devon County Council and form close working relationships with the local family of both primary and secondary schools.
